Replacement for a 16 Year Old Tahitian

We loved our 2008 Tahitian, but it was getting too hard to maintain. When both jets pumps went out at once, we decided to replace the spa. After much comparison shopping, we decided on the Vanto. We were disappointed that we couldn’t get many of the features of the Tahitian at anywhere near the price we expected - the Vanto has many fewer features than our Tahitian did - no air system, fewer options for adjusting flow, no circulation system, etc., and at nearly twice what we paid for the Tahitian. A lot of that is inflation, but not all of it. However, once we filled the Vanto and balanced the water, we have been very happy with it. There is a very nice variety of therapeutic effects in the various seats, the jets are very powerful, and it actually feels more spacious than the Tahitian did. We are very happy with it overall.

After being addicted to public spa’s and vacation rental spa’s we decided to purchase one of our own. Being directed to the Caldera spa we made our decision on the Vacanza Series. (Vanto) My wife and I didn’t realize how crystal clear the water maintained in our personal spa compared to a public spa. This is definitely a purchase that will be enjoyed for several years to come.

I had my spa delivered and installed by Pool King. I used pool Kings recommended Electrician. The installation did not pass the county safety code. The electrician could not get back out to make their final repairs for a week. I made the necessary repair myself, and the inspector passed the inspection the next day. I noticed water around my tub every day for a week. After a week I had to add an inch of water because one of the jets was no longer submerged. I called customer service and they sent a repair man out. He could not find the leak. They told me to keep an eye on it. I had to add another inch of water 10 days later. My concern is not filling water in the month of August. My concern is what is going to happen this winter when that leaking water freezes and expands.

Overall this spa has been ok. We have a 2017model that has had issues starting in 2019when just two years old. The pump loosens and vibrated making a very loud sound when the heating element comes on. We’ve had it fixed multiple times and it just keeps happening. Now our heating element is going out. It’s a good comfortable spa just expected more from caldera for the price.

Nice spa - poor quality on outside panels

Our spa was delivered with the panels having significant gaps to the point you can see the inside insulation and frame. I currently have tape over the holes to keep anything out while I wait the 2 moths to receive new panels and corners that might fix the probfix the problem - I was told we might need to order a replacement spa??

This Caldera Vanto hot tub replaces my 30 year old Coleman Model 208. The new tub brings me into a new age for comfort. The corner seats keep you sliding into the tub missing the full benefits of the various jets on you back. Keeping the water clear require significantly less chemicals than I previously used. The Mineral Spa Sanitizer is a must to keeping the water crystal clear. Love the FROG in line Bromine Mineral system. Easy to use and maintain. Have the Monarch Ozone system installed to keep the water clear and balanced. Needed to review manual in that this system only works when pumps are on.

My husband has many ailments and has had tremendous relief from pain. We bought our hot tub from All Seasons in July 2023 and have been extremely pleased with the service. The Vanto is perfect for my husband, he has been using it every day, even in the cold weather. Our adult children and grandchildren love it as well. Thank you!

We bought Our first caldera hot tub 4 years ago in Texas. It was so perfect that when we bought a home in Oregon recently we bought one for there. The local dealer, Eugene spas and hot tubs, was great to work with and they really know their business. The vacanza vanto is the model we have and it is exactly the kind of hot tub we like-great hydrotherapy and plenty of room.

I enjoy my new 7 seater Vanto Spa as it’s a nice addition to have in my backyard to go seat in & relax with my family. Or go in by myself is nice also at night time. It’s nice to experience the different jets on your body & the water touch on the sore muscles. As I am a high level chronic pain suffer through out most of my whole body. So any type of some type of temporary relief feels good as it’s nice to know I can go soak in my own hot tub when ever I have time available for it.

After considering tubs from several other brands my wife and I landed on the Vanto due to its great value annd ease of maintence/water care. We started out with an inflatable tub and realized we were using it so often we wanted a more permanent comfortable solution. The Vanto has exceeded our expectations. The foot jets are especially nice. I think it's something I would want in any tub moving forward but wasn't on my radar at all during the shopping process. I'm looking forward to enjoying this unit for years to come.

Our new ritual

We had our Caldera Vanto hot tub installed on May 1 and going in it at the end of the day has become our new favorite ritual. Snuggling down into the warm, inviting tub feels like getting a hug from your mom. We absolutely love it! With a family of 5 (3 teens), we also love the rule of the tub: No bickering in the tub. 🙂 You do need to stay on top of the water chemistry (as you would with any tub or pool) and keep to a schedule of checking with the tabs and adding shock every now and then. It's not a big deal once you get into it, but certainly something that needs to be remembered.

Recently purchased the Vanto from my local retailer and there aren’t enough words to express my satisfaction. The size of the hot tub is perfect for my needs and the Vanto provides all of the amenities needed at a reasonable cost. The ease of keeping the tub clean and sanitary has been wonderful for a first time hot tub owner. Highly recommend Caldera and the Vanto for the full hot tub experience at a fair price.

I needed a spa which captured views in all directions without sacrificing comfort. Plenty of room for 4+ with open seating. Just enough jets for therapy and the foot jets are perfect. I didn't need useless bells & whistles but the Vanto has enough options for all purposes. And maintenance is simple and efficient - all around terrific spa!

My wife and I love this tub. 90% of the time just us 2 sit in this 7 person spa, but then it's perfect for when more friends come over. We like the simplicity of this one. We initially were considering a lounger spa but we learned that majority of second time buyers don't get a lounger. We're not really in to the frills and this tub is simple and what we wanted. Caring for the water has been much easier than I thought. I restore the water every 4 months and the first few weeks of fresh water the water seems to be very easy to level. We also wash our suits on a water rinse mode before getting in and we've found we have far less bubbles. Once our friends come over it throws off and needs a lot more chemicals and bubbles appear.
