Awesome spa!!

We received our Salina hot tub a week ago and could not be more pleased! The delivery and installation were both phenomenal which was greatly appreciated as our hot tub needed to be placed in the lower level of our ski condo in Maine. The water testing and addition of salt was simple to follow and the comfort of the tub is incredible!! The Salina is a replacement for a built in hot tub which was put in the property in 1987.

This is the most comfortable spa tub I’ve been in I’m short and my husband is tall and we can both sit in the seats without any issues absolutely love this!!!!

We are very happy with the Salina Hot Tub. Over all the quality looks awesome and by having the Salt Sanitizing System installed, we really enjoy the water comfort vs our prior experience with Chlorine/Bromine based systems. It's quite easy to maintain water quality as well once you have it balanced. We paid a lot more for the Caldera Brand than we had budgeted for, however we are hoping long term reliability makes it pay off.

I saw many reviews on the Seychelles and Reunion models but very few about the Salina. I was really nervous buying it sight unseen but I really wanted the 4 bucket seats in the corners instead of a huge cool down seat or a lounger taking up 1/3 of the spa as found in some of the other models. Once it was delivered the crew told me they do not deliver as many of these as a lot of people opt for the smaller and more affordable models such as the Seychelles and Reunion models which are approximately $1,000 less. I am so happy I chose the Salina. The four seats all have their great features and 2 seats seem to sit a little higher with two sitting a little lower which is great for people of different heights. Pressure wise, I thought you couldn't make it too strong for me but I was wrong! I typically leave all of the diverter valves in the center for even distribution and that will almost push you out of the seat with the air valves open. If you want a more gentle touch you can close the air valves and receive a low impact massage. The foot jets and calf jets are fantastic and the Euphoria jet is amazing on your feet and legs. I opted for the sat system and I am so glad I did. I had seen a lot of mixed reviews so I had reservations but being on month in on the salt system I have only added a capful of chlorine twice and PH Down twice. That being said my water from the tap is soft and doesn't have phosphates. I hope to get many years of use out of my Salina Spa. 1 month in and I am thrilled with the performance. I will be comparing utility bills with the previous year to get a true cost.

A great way to relax

We knew we wanted to own a hottub for a few years and the time was finally right to take the plunge. Delivery and setup was way easier and more hands on than I expected. The delivery team was great and went over everything I needed to know as a first time spa owner. Getting the water balanced and sauce was also a super easy process (especially after getting it water tested beforehand). Finally, we've been enjoying using our spa. I'm glad we opted for the built in sound system and the jets are fairly easy to tune in.

Mainely Tubs is extremely professional. They helped us make the right choice and their showroom experience was well organized. Delivery came as expected and they have made sure that we are well taken care of. We love our hot tub!

Very happy with our Salina Spa

Friends said, "Don't buy a spa, you'll use it a couple times and then never touch it". Happy to say that is not true! We are in the spa every night for the relaxing effects and comfort. We had an inground pool for many years, took a lot of upkeep and my wife never used it. The spa is the opposite, just a little upkeep and my wife uses it daily.

Overall ok. Nothing but trouble since purchased. I believe
pipes are full of bacteria. Have emptied 2times and
still having issues with it. Delivered with scratches nothing
has been done about it.

Love it except that it’s falling apart

We have had our Salina hot tub for three years and one month, and now the exterior panels are coming off. Overall we have really enjoyed this hot tub, but just very disappointed that now things are starting to fall apart and it’s out of warranty by 1 month. The salt cells are easy to replace every 4 months, but they are not cheap, so that is definitely something to take into consideration when purchasing a hot tub. The other thing to keep in mind is that the insulated cover will retain water after it rains and that can make it very heavy to lift. Our cover lift broke and ripped the cover, so now that’s another thousand dollars will be looking at putting into this. In hindsight, I probably would not get a hot tub again.

We use our mountain homes hot tub lots. Our family and friends enjoy it. We shopped around considered style luxury efficiency water systems and price. Once we saw the Caldera and heard it’s features from our chosen supplier we were hooked. It’s low profile makes access easy for my wife and the grandkids! It has sexy cool features and an easy to use control panel. It makes us proud to show to guests and is definitely a luxurious upgrade for us,owners for over ten years.

I love my spa and use it nearly every day. I love how powerful and varied the jets are. They help me relax and also disguise my enormous flatulence. The jets create such effervescence and turbidity in the water that my rear's bubbles emerge undetected. The low hum of the pump motors offer just enough aural concealment to obscure when my sphincter releases voluminous quantities of noxious gasses. And the freshwater salt system makes keeping the water balanced a breeze, regardless of how many breezes from my posterior have entered the spa. Love this spa! Highly recommend it!

1) All 4 2 Euro Directional jets for the feet all face the same seat under the waterfall, the least used seat.
2) More places for feet (notches/grooves) to help keep you in your seat when sitting in one of the four corners.
3) Maybe add two inches to the spa, this way people that are six feet taller can use the head rests.

Learning the salt water care was the biggest learning curve but it is small. I wish I went with a different shell other than all white since this is outside and direct sun can reflect off the shell making the water look green at times when it is clear water. If it is inside, not an issue. As far as ease of use, quality, and comfort, they are through the roof. I find myself in this almost every night.

Great Spa and great Customer Service

We bought our Caldera/Salina Spa from the Spa and Sauna Company on South Virginia Street in Reno NV. We dealt with Kevin at this company. He was great, honest, trustworthy and very knowledgeable. The Spa is really great and is high quality, and an excellent build. We love it and it is very relaxing and helpful after a hard day at work. It helps to relax and rejuvenate the entire body. In the morning you feel like new again from the Spa treatment for just 30 minutes each night. Kevin took time to walk me through the first start up procedures, and has been available to answer all may questions. The Spa is great - highly recommend the Callers/Salina Spa, the Spa and Sauna Company and our sales person Kevin. Very satisfied and happy. Bill
