It is the perfect hot tub for two people. I really enjoy it. The care system is easy but I think it is costly. The Bromine cartridge doesn't last long enough.

My wife and I looked at a lot of different hot tubs to meet our needs that included size to fit into a small space. We found the Aventine hot tub and realized it was the deal. I am 6'3" and fit comfortably in the tub.
If you are looking for a two person hot tub, this is the one.

I've owned my Aventine for about five years.
Comfort: Plenty of room for two to stretch out.
Quality: No issues that have required any repairs.
Ease of Water Care: Once I figured out the optimal setting for the bromine cartridge relative to my water supply, it's been really easy. I test, shock, and make any needed minor adjustments once/week.
Energy Effiiciency: Outstanding. Barely noticeable impact on electric bill, even during the winter (coastal North Carolina).
Value: A bit pricey relative to the size. But there aren't a lot of choices if you need something that fits in a corner and leaves space to walk.

We have owned our aventine tub for about 2 years now. And are still enjoying it about 3 days per week. In the summer we turn the temp down to 99 and it's the perfect temp after sundown. The only thing I would add is more jets but what spa owner doesn't say that:)

I ordered the tub in a coastal gray but it appears more like a tan color with light streaks of gray in it. The tub is great for 1 person especially. Although it says it has 2 seating arrangements, with the buoyancy, you can comfortably move in many positions to relax. That surprised me. The jets provide a lot of power but when on full strength, it gets quite sudsy and I have to turn it down. I don't know why that happens. The men who delivered it were more "pool people" and really couldn't explain how the control panel works. Although it's small, it's involved and I'm still confused as to how to operate it. I'm also a bit confused as to the number to put the bromine and minerals on but with it being a small tub, I'm told not to really be too worried about it. All in all, the tub is quite nice and attractive on my deck.

Thanks for the feedback about the Aventine spa. Suds in the water has to do with your source water and the chemicals you add to the water, not the spa itself. Your local dealer can chat with you about how to easily rid the water of those suds/foam, as well as the proper operation of the spa's control panel and how to adjust the Spa Frog levels. I will send a note to your dealer with a request that they contact you to provide water chemistry orientation and assistance in becoming familiar with the controls. Happy Hot Tubbing!

Powerful jets...Practical design!

I love my Caldera Aventine hot tub. Not just like...love. It is so well designed! Getting in and out is easy (I got a stone step), but moving from one seat to another is super easy with the well placed handle. The sit up seat has jets that penetrate to lower back and still your feet can get a massage from the foot jet. The lay back seat gets your upper back plus you can massage your legs with the powerful jet from the side. I had a Jacuzzi brand for years before this hot tub. The jets were never as powerful. I had to have the spa technicians out once or twice a year and great cost. I have had this tub for over 4 years...not one service call! Yep, I LOVE it!

We have had the spa about 2 weeks so can't comment on the power usage, but we find it relaxing. The BIG problem we are having is that I shut it down for maintence and now it wont restart. The control panel lights up then flashes "Ready" with 5 -----.Cant get any help from Caldera and still waiting for the sales rep to get back to me. When it is working it is great, but if I am going to have hassles everytime it requires maintenance, then it sort of negates the relaxment we get in it.

I purchased this hot tub to help deal with the pain of arthritis. It has help, pain has been greatly reduced. Only concern was the Frog system, had a hard time getting the bromine level stabilized, switched to chlorine.

Love the Aventine! Fits nicely in a corner of the house and we don't have to go outside! The jets are great on the back and the seats are comfortable. Low maintenance and easy to use inside.

Fantastic spa for 1-2 persons! Super easy to maintain and cost efficient to heat. We have owned this spa for 1 year and use it 4-6 times a week for about 45 minutes per session. We love it so much we are considering trading up to a larger unit for more seating options.

This is perfect for the my husband and I. Easy maintenance - I can do everything myself- it is easy enopugh for one person to handle as far as getting cover off and cleaning, adding chemicals, water etc. thanks to Treat's Pools and Spas if we ever have any questions or need supplies they are always ready to help!
