I start and end my day in my Caldera Aventine hot tub.

We were resistant to buying a hot tub, afraid that we would not use it enough to justify having one. But since I was recently diagnosed with RA, we decided to try one. Three weeks ago we purchased the Caldera Aventine for two people, which three people could comfortably enjoy. It is making my RA pain so much more tolerable, and it helps me loosen up my muscles and joints tremendously. I start, and end, each day in my hot tub. Jason, our sales person, was so considerate and knowledgeable and has kept in touch with us since our purchase. The delivery people did a phenomenal job, even filling it with hot water they provided so that we were enjoying our new hot tub within a few hours after installation. The entire Backyard Leisure team talked with us in depth while helping us decide on the right hot tub for our needs. Upkeep is so easy on the Aventine. We had it installed in our sunporch so that outside debris wouldn’t be an issue. We couldn’t be happier with our decision. Buying a hot tub has been one of the best investments we’ve made, and buying from Backyard Leisure topped it all off to make it such a pleasant experience! The Aventine Caldera Spa i purchased just over 3 years ago requires a new pump. If Caldera Spas can only be reliable for 3 years before having to buy a replacement pump then the product is inferior. The warranty is only for two years but with a key component like a pump it should be warrantied for at least 5 years. Won't buy Caldera when I replace the current Aventine model.

I know how frustrating a repair can be, and I am sorry to hear your jet pump needs to be replaced in your spa. We provide a 2 year component warranty with the Aventine model, and we do have other models that include a 5 year warranty. I am not sure why your pump has gone out now. Sometimes this can be caused by water chemistry. We are happy to speak with you and review your spa and water care just to be safe. I have my hot tub ( caldera Aventine ) for about 8 years .
I'm replacing the water pump for the 3rd time and I barely use it ( besides it runs 24/7 )
Should I get it replaced again ?

Purchased the Aventine two years ago. It is in an enclosed sunroom--use it all year round. Other than chlorine weekly, there is very little care other than once in a while adjusting the ph. I am really enjoying the hot tub.

Really hard to get balances right. Have to shower before using to keep water from becoming cloudy, sudsy from body oil, deodorant soap, etc., etc.

When it's working right, I love the spa. It had a serious leak when installed (which the phone person said was impossible) and now the motor has stopped working. New one ordered. Check back in a month to see what I think of it
