Caldera is Quality!!!

I think I may have been the last customer to receive a Caldera Provence. It’s the double lounger in the Utopia Series. It was the perfect fit for my balcony outside my bedroom. Keep in mind, I had to have a structural engineer put in extra support to avoid any possible overweight issues. The set up was tricky but well worth it. I’m so very happy I chose a Caldera Utopia Series Model. First and foremost, it’s the most comfortable spa on the market. I’m 6’3 and my wife is 5’4, and we both are cradled in absolute comfort. The power and adjustability of the jets are arguably the best in the industry. Very user friendly and looks better than any hot tub on the market !!! Great Value for the quality you are getting. Very happy with my purchase and a big thank you to Caldera

I love my Provence hot tub. Not sure why caldera does not make any longer. It is the perfect spa for me!! I am ready for another long winter of staying in due to covid. My spa is going to be my daily “get away!”

I think the hot tub is really nice. You just have to make sure to keep on top of maintenance. If you need to make a calendar for it, you should do it. The incidental costs of not maintaining the hot tub properly outweigh the value of having one. So if you are not up to keeping the tub in peak performance, you might want to rethink about getting one.
However, if you do keep it at peak performance, then it is a great investment.

We purchased our Tahitian tub just a year ago in Mar, just after the Pandemic hit. We LOVE IT!, Our Salesman, Al, and the whole delivery team were great and efficient. We love the deep massaging jets and the easy maintenance of the salt water system.

Best Investment Ever

We were hesitant at first but due to corona virus and not being able to cruise, we invested our money into a Caldera Tahitian hot tub. My wife and I have enjoyed sitting under the stars, relaxing in our hot tub. The therapeutic benefits are amazing as well!

Spa has some issues

We've owned our spa for a year and the main control panel has been replaced six times so far! I have figured out that when the panel quits working, if I reset the main circuit breaker, it will often start working again. I would expect a better product for the price. Other than that, the jets are great and the spa is comfortable.

Value is a Vanishing Act: Ease of Water Care Is a Lie

We bought this very expensive hot tub with the promise of ease of water care. After following all the instructions and a hands on tutorial from our dealer, it has failed to ever generate chlorine. I spend my time fretting about balancing my water. After only 3 months, the status indicator is blinking and the control panel indicates that I need a $100 cartridge that will probably generate no chlorine.
Now to the quality of the product. We get in the hot tub only to have the jet covers fall off and see the weir floating in the water. On the outside We have a loose panel, a trim piece that fell off, and flimsy screws for the hold down straps. I cannot secure the cover in the back.
We waited 3 months to get our hot tub, and it is literally a $12,000, 375 gallon disappointment. I am sorry for all the time I spent upgrading my electric panel, installing a disconnect, and having it inspected. A hot tub is supposed to be relaxing. This one just gives me stress.

Caldera Tahitian- Newbies To Spas!

We bought the Tahitian the first week of June 2020, as our first SPA . I changed my first salt water cartridge on October 1st. I have attached a picture that I took on that morning! Yes we used it! Yes it looks great and there is absolutely NO ODOR! The water is still sparkling clean after 4 months of use. I absolutely love the ease of this Spa. I would also recommend getting the lift! I don't know what I was thinking because I didn't want to- and then I visited someone who has a lift and saw how important this is. Who wants their cover on the ground or damaged? Get the lift! Also- we are in Maine where it gets really cold and windy.

One Year Later

After owning the Caldera Tahitian Spa for one year, it has added tremendous value to our day to day livelihood. Now an absolute necessity in my daily routine, I find myself jumping in whenever the weather gets a tad chilly, just to warm up. Beyond that the health benefits to my muscles are apparent with tight knots being worked out without the need for human interaction. The tub has found it's way to our backyard and into our home, as a permanent fixture forever.

Still lovin' my Caldera after 18 months!

This is the second Caldera hot tub I've owned in the last 16 years. We enjoyed our first Caldera (also the Tahitian model ) for 14 years.
Our new hot tub is even better!
We now enjoy 2 Euphoria jets, neck massage, the lounge and (as the one who has to maintain the hot tub) the Freshwater Saltwater system. This system is awesome: I only change water once a year and maintaining the proper chemistry is so simple. It does require replacement of a chlorine generation cartridge every 4 months, but the water is always soft, clean and never smells 'chemically'.
We have no regrets with our decision to purchase a second Tahitian as we were building our new house - we did not look at any other tubs.
Our new hot tub is even better!

This is a very nice spa. It is great at night with the lights on. We love it but have had a few problems with the speakers going out and needing replaced before the 1st year.

Touch pad controls have to be reset by turning the power on and off every time we use the spa.
There is a hole in the fiberglass shell where one of the support post for the headrest broke off.
Our local dealer is working to get us a replacement spa as we have tried to have these issues repaired several times.

My family and I absolutely love our spa. I find myself In it several times a week and for the first Tom in a long time, I’m looking for the Winter to be very cold and snowy so as to enjoy it that much more.

Purchased the Tahitian to replace our prior tub we sold with our previous house. Wasn’t sure about having a lounger, but can say now I’m glad we bought it.
Saltwater is much easier to maintain, but still having a little trouble with getting FCL levels right.

Everything about the tub is great - love the jets and the overall quality of the tub itself. Just having issues with the freshwater salt system not producing enough chlorine to manage just 2 people in the tub for 1/2 hour a day...... The first salt cell was shot after 2 months instead of 4 and it did not work from the start. I had to add chlorine every week to maintain a residual. Dealer replaced it and made a power adjustment to the cell in a hidden menu so we will see what happens from here. All water chemistry has been spot on and checked every other day. Hopefully this will fix the issue

So far we are loving it! The salt water system has been working flawlessly. I will clean filter weekly add enzymes and shock occasionally and the maintenance has been very simple. I'm hoping to get many many years of use our of this Tahitian!
