Love our Caldera Spa!

This is our second Caldera Spa and we love the advances that have been made in the last 18 years. The water circulates 24/7 at a very low speed. We use the built-in frog system and the water needs very few chemicals. We chose the Niagara model without a lounge seat (it's hard to stay in one without floating out,) but the way the seats are arranged, there is a semi-lounge position for those who want that. Plenty of jets too. We've always felt that Caldera Spas are top-quality, and they would be our choice next time too.

We love our Niagara spa it is a wonderful addition to our sunroom I am in it at least four times a week it is always ready. 24/7 If I wake up at 5:30am with a tight mussels there is nothing like 15 minute in the tub Cristal Pools in Elizabethtown PA are top notch from planning to delivery they exceeded my expectations. The control panel takes a little time to master and the neck jet valve is sometimes an issue. But otherwise 99% happy

After initial set-up, spa was shutting itself down and showing flashing Power and Ready lights. Had to shut off power and restart with same reults after 10 minutes. No water through filter with #2 pump. Initially diagnosed as a pressure switch or one-way valve problem. Turns out it was a software proiblem and #2 pump does not circulate through filter by design. All working well now for the past 4 months. Son (11yrs) likes the waterfall and light show. Additional control panel comes in handy. Fits seven kids. Back seats great for adults. An inexpensive low mount coverlift works well. Recommend you hose down, wipe clean and drain before first fill-up. All in all, would buy same make/model again.

This is our first tub. My wife is on 5 ft, so finding a tub that would fit her was a challenge. The Niagara worked just dandy. The lights are very nice and the seats offer a lot of variety. A few features were missing from the tub upon receipt. However, the vendor sent a technician to update the software.

So the reason I came to the CalderaSpas website was to see if there were any new options, tubs, etc. as I am building a new home. I have used the Niagara for the last 6 years and absolutely love it. It is the perfect relaxation tub for teenagers and an awesome therapy tub when you really want to work your muscles deeply. I can't see how the controls could be any more convenient. Seriously the tub has controls on both sides so you're never more than an arm's reach away. And unless you're a complete fool I can't see why anyone would have any difficulty adjusting lighting thru the 7 steps...even my youngest child operates all the tub controls without thought. I have the StoneScape exterior which is very realistic...and stays nice without fading or looking chalky...seems to double as additional insulation. Only issue I had was with a wall mounted cover lifter which installer did not properly anchor into wooden support members...I beefed up the substructure and all is great!!

Good value - Jet controls should be moved

We enjoy our Niagara spa, and the quality after 18 months appears very good. The only complaint we have is the location of the jet controls. They are on the opposite side of spa from the seat you are in. More thought should have been put into where the jet controls were located.

Poor design and quality for 2011 Niagra. Fountain dial control has been repaired and/or replaced on 3 occasions. Lights have been replaced where a third set will be replaced within the next 30 days. Do not believe unit was tested properly before leaving factory. Local dealership has been tasked with this lemon and have been wonderful to correct all matters. If it was not for local dealership, this matter would have been escalated. It's discerning to spend top dollar for aggravation. Yes, a Caldera Spa is a great investment, however quality control needs to be held accountable.

The only reason I din't rate the Spa a 5 is the controls can be challenging. Just try changing the lighting sequence, you will be there for a while. Other then that the Spa performance has been excellent. We are very please we chose the Niagara Spa.

The spa was delivered and I had it up and running soon after (had to wait for the electrician - that can cost some money) The water was easy to adjust and since that time have refilled and adjusted it without problem. It does take some more maintenance than just a once a week dose of chlorine, but overall not that bad.
It does use more electricity than the salesman told me it would (no big surprise there).
We have had it less than a year, no problems, and we use it at least twice a week - we conveniently located it right next to our walk out basement door. I know many people with indoor jet tubs that never use them - this is a much better investment in your relaxation - it's always on and always ready.

We shopped many spas before purchasing a Caldera. None really provided the comfort the Niagra does. But neither did others provide the size, colors and overall quality this spa provides. After nearly 3 years of service we have no regret for spending the money for this spa.

On the whole, I am very satisfied with my Caldera Spa and have recommended it to others. In addition, my dealer has been excellent to work with.
The only issue I am disappointed in is the capcity of the heater for a spa of this size. If the exterior temperature is below 20 degrees F, the heater can't keep up with the heat loss and the spa gets cold. My dealer has looked at this to confirm that everything is working correctly and they say it is.

We bought our hot tub 4 years ago and were extremely happy with it. In the 3rd year, we noticed the shell bubbling in a few areas and contacted the company about it. They ended up replacing the spa!! I highly recommend Caldera - they are a company that stands behind their product. We absolutely love our hot tub!!!

Best Investment we made to our Happy Marriage!

As most couples ,we were hesitant to invest in something that was a want and not a need in this challenging economic climate but are so happy we made the big step. Our hot tub has definitely brought us closer together and gives us something to look forward to at the end of our stressful days. We start out taling and getting caught up and then turn on the jets and become quiet and peaceful to de-stress for the evening. We absolutely love our spa and have told all our family and friends and co-workers to think seriously about enriching their lives as we did ours!
