Love our Caldera spa

We owned a Sundance for 18 yrs and we thought it would be hard to find a comparable spa but after some research we decided to go with the Caldera Niagara. We love our spa, we use it 4-5 times a week. The jets are strong, great for neck and back.
We highly recommend buy a Caldera Spa.

All original music speakers have corroded

I have had nothing but problems with my speakers from my music system. In fact, each one of my original speakers has bit the dust. So, if you're going to buy a Caldera, I would definitely recommend you to skip the music option.

My kids are teens and not in need of any more phones, computers, or clothes. So...I decided to get us all a family gift of a spa. I tried several different kinds in the showroom, and the Caldera Niagara was my favorite. Just today, three months later, I was sitting in the spa grateful that I made the decision I did. We love our spa! And now my kids have their friends over to hang out in our Caldera.

I just Can’t say enough about our buying experience! The sales person was wonderful and made us feel like family. We made several visits before making the final decision and she never once acted like we were being a problem! Her patience and understanding helped us to be completely comfortable with our final choice. We are enjoying our spa and love all of the options it provides. And I am Comfortable that I could Walk into the show room today and be receiving with open arms and assisted in any way possible!!!

I am a first time hot tub owner- I am so WOWed by this product! It is so easy to use and to enjoy.The water stays at a constant temp and the ease of adding chemicals is superior to none! We use this tub 1-2x a day. Having a cup of coffee in the hot tub in the morning is the best way to start a day! Thanks Caldera. Lifetime Owner to be!

I have a 2014 Niagra and have had nothing but problems. Bluetooth had never worked right. Constant issues. Hot tub now leaks and spoke to dealer and dealer referred me to manual around drain plug. It’s notleaking around drain plug. Today tried to open over and it was full of water. When I opened cover was so heavy it partially ripped cover lifte of hotubside.

Great spa! Seats 7 but one seat is a cool down seat and 2 other seats just have a low pressure lower back jet (single). 4 seats are 'action packed' and have a ton of jets. Spa is roomy enough for 4 adults to all be in a high powered seat (in the corners) without having to bump into each other. The lights and jets are really good. It has a waterfall/fountain feature as well that also lights up but it's really only good in my opinion for show. We don't actually keep it on when we are in the hot tub. The heating function on it is stellar! 103 is as hot as we have gotten it and you can't really stay in very long with it that hot. We usually keep ours at 100 or 101. That seems to be the right temperature where it's comfortable and you can stay in (a couple hours even!). The jet valves on this thing are a bit confusing at first until you really get the hang of what controls what. Additionally some of the jets in the corners can be turned on/off by rotating the actual jet itself. Water care is pretty painless as long as you use the Frog cartridge system that is built in. I bought mine with the full sound system with sub woofer. The quality of the speakers is just 'ok' but I guess when have to have water proof speakers or at least heavy splash proof speakers that you have to sacrifice a bit in quality. Still for $1000 (what I paid for the speaker/sub woofer system) I would have expected better sound quality. Sound actually can drop out on you if the volume on your phone and volume on your spa speaker system are both at max. That super annoys me. Other than that, I would recommend this spa. We are in it almost every night and it's really quite wonderful .

This spa is the best thing we have purchased. Put the kids to bed and jump in to kick back in the week. Have friends round for sparty time on the week end . You only live once so live well.

Never had I been in a hot tub before but at the age of 60 after an auto accident that left both my husband and I with pain we were told we would have to live with and find ways to ease them and make them bareable, it was suggested that we try a hot tub for relef so we did. With the help of Don Adams at Clearwater Spas we were able to get the best choice hot tub to meet our need from neck to lower back and even my feet, and calf’s from from diabetes and hands from corporal tunnel. On those bad nights that my husband can’t sleep because of pain, he steps into the hot tub and enjoys the feeling of utopia in the quiet night and feels relef and gets a good nights sleep. We can’t always get to our chiropractor for therapy, but it’s nice to know you can get relef right in the privacy of your own back yard with out an appointment. Choosing the right hot tub with the right jets in the places you most need them is important when shopping if you want to get the full benefits of your new hot tub. Don Adams was very helpful in helping us with our choice. We love our Niagra hot tub !

We use our spa almost daily year round. Even when it was below zero.
I have 5 herniated discs in my back and this spa has all the jets in the right spots and then some. We rotate from seat to seat since each seat is designed to work on specific areas of the body.
Best purchase we ever made. Haven’t had to see a chiropractor since we purchased. :-)

I took delivery December 1, 2017....and it was the best decision ever! I have been in it nearly every morning since then. (below zero wind chills, blizzards and a vacation are the only things that prevent using it!)
Not only does it make me feel great, it's a great way to start every morning. I'm usually in in before daylight.
Maintenance has been easier than I imagined.
I have recommended it to anyone that is thinking about a hot tub. Thanks for making such a great product

I use my spa daily as a way to begin & end the day. It's not uncommon to find me using the spa morning & night. I love the way I feel refreshed every time. Our spa is my kids favorite family activity! The spa is my husbands favorite way to unwind and relieve the aches of a long day at work. When I have 20 min of free time, you'll find me in the spa.

I wanted to wait to review until we had our Niagara through one water change cycle (about 4 months).
Buying. Our experience was OUTSTANDING from our Caldera dealer. Our Sales Rep was very knowledgeable, personable and professional. He asked the right questions and made spot on recommendations as to which tub would fit our active lifestyle. He ensured that we went tested the tubs we were looking at. He came by the house for a pre inspection to ensure the spa would work at our location. After delivery, he came by to go over all the features and fill us in on chemistry which he was also knowledgeable about. As a side note, we did our due diligence and went to competitors to compare and sadly, they seemed not to care if they go our business or not. Their loss!
The Niagara itself. We are very active and at middle age. After a 10 mile hike or 5 mile run, let me tell you what appears to be at first a very frivolous purchase and buyers remorse quickly goes away when you step in the tub. We chose the Niagara as the lounger chair was not our style. We liked the seating arrangement and jet configuration. While it says it seats 7, 4 is comfortable. And they get decent seats. They are not on a hump with just one jet in the small of the back. Anyway, Tub Time is therapeutic on tired muscles and bones. We even sleep better after a bit of tub time.
The functionslike the diverters are easy to use. The screen panel is easy to navigate. Couple of buttons and the jets are on and so are the lights if you so choose. You set the temp and it’s done. The outside “butterfly” logo, when the right wing is orange, you know at a glance you are within 2 degrees of target. The Niagara is easy to get in and out of. Make sure you take notice when you wet test.
Maintenance. Very easy. I do a spot check couple times a week. A quick peek under the cover only takes a few seconds. Mostly checking for clarity. I test once a week with test strips and I found I would have to make an adjustment, maybe every two weeks or so. YMMV depending on your water. I’ve only topped off the tub twice in four months. Not bad! Once a month I would rinse the cover off and apply a coating of Aero 303 to protect it and clean the pleated filter. I would change Bromine about 5-6 weeks or whenever it sounds like salt shaker. Again, YMMV. The mineral cartridge, when I do a water change. The water change itself, takes less than 1.5 hours. That includes sponging out the last bits of water at bottom. Get yourself a 1/4 HP pump off the giant online shopping website. If you want, even stick a sprinkler to other end and water your lawn while draining. Again, easy. Refill, make chemical adjustments as needed and you are off and running after it gets up to temp.
Overall, we couldn’t be more pleased. From buying experience to maintenance to ease of use. Any buyers remorse quickly goes away when you step into it after a long day of work or activity or any occasion. If you have the budget and space, go for it. You won’t regret it.

This is an amazing hot tub. I was concerned about a hot tub not attached to the pool. I have been pleasantly surprised at how clean it stays, with very little chemicals.
However, I moved into this house and can't figure out how to get the jets exactly right. The manual left behind is lame ... can someone point me to where I can find a more detailed user manual. Thanks, Karen

The Niagra is the first hot tub that we've ever owned! We enjoy it so much and use it most every day! Sometimes even twice a day! I must say though it takes a little time to learn all of the controls but the owner's manual has photos that display exactly which each one does. Some control air and some control water volume at each station. Needs to be that way because everyone is different and everyone likes to adjust their station to their particular liking. Glad we settled on a Caldera spa! We trust this hot tub will last many years!

I paid top dollar to have a Caldera spa because it is supposed to be one of the best. I do love the spa but it has had its challenges. Had to have the repair guy out 7 different times to try to solve stereo issues. This was very upsetting. I feel that if Caldera is going to offer integrated stereo systems they need to match the quality of the system with the quality of the spa. Two other warranty issues besides the stereo but have got all but one issue resolved. If i had to do it again i would tell caldera to keep there stereo system, save cutting the holes in the tub for speakers and ill use my own bose outdoor system that puts the caldera stereo to shame. Would recommend the spa to others with certain warnings.

We did so much research before purchasing our Caldera Spa, and I must say, we made the right decision by purchasing this spa. We absolutely love it. It has so much pressure (which you can easily dial up or down) and so many jets. I love all the different seats in the spa and I'm so glad we didn't settle for a cheaper brand, because you get what you pay for. We had a spa at our old home (it was not a Caldera and it came free with the purchase of that home) and we thought it was nice UNTIL we purchased our Caldera spa. We didn't know how much difference there was between different brands. I will definitely recommend this spa. If you're in the market, you should try to see one in person at a showroom to feel the pressure. That's what we did.

I've had my Niagara spa for two years and it never fails to provide the relaxation I was looking for. I love to use is right after the kids leave for school, and before I start work. The amazing neck jets help ease the kinks in my neck from hours sitting at a computer! When we use it at night, the LEDs provide just the right amount of light to easily get in and out in the dark. I will admit, it took me a while to figure out the chemicals, but now that I have, taking care of the spa is easy and requires almost no time. I have recommended this spa to friends and family. My daughter is heading off to college and she told me one of the things she will miss is having daily access to such a great spa! It should keep her coming home on breaks for years to come!
