Not overly impressed
PostedMay 31, 2023
Pieces fall off daily when jets turn on- water is almost always cloudy, and im boosting and using clear blue- alot more issues than we're used to having with our hot tub. We just replaced our Sundance 800 with this and I hands down like my Sundance better.
Only 2 seats jets work at one time- not all seats can be going- which to me is absolutely ridiculous. It's 6-8 person hot tub so those folks should be able to enjoy the jets not just 2 people
Astetics-wise this tub is beautiful, looks great during the day & night- the colors are gorgeous but the up-keep and the constant jet covers falling off, and parts floating in the water, is enough for me to be annoyed vs relaxed each time I go in it

Money Well Spent
PostedMay 17, 2023
This was money well spent. Between my wife and I, we have neck, back, and sleep issues. This has renewed our activity levels and created a space for us to relax. We are even thinking about adding the cooling system also to utilize it year-round.

SPA has worked smoothly and met expectations really well!
PostedMay 5, 2023
Needed this spa to help recover from a back and neck injury and it has had plenty of power with the jets and variety of configurations to do that nicely. I am able to work through therapy without the need for pain killers thanks to using the spa daily. Extremely surprised how well it holds temp while in it and with cover off and in high 30s temps.

Absolutely Love Our Caldera Niagra Hot Tub
PostedFebruary 23, 2023
We've had our Niagra hot tub for a few months now and it is absolutely awesome. It's easy to care for, so comfortable and beautiful to look at. We checked out quite a few hot tub options and are thrilled with our decision to buy this hot tub. The euphoria foot jets are wonderful. The hot tub pretty much takes care of itself with minimal effort from us. Don't hesitate to buy a Caldera....

Somewhat disappointed in quality of Hot Tub and response from dealer
PostedJanuary 2, 2023
When our hot tub was installed the dealer did not have the salt system in stock. It took over a week before they installed the salt system. The tub was installed in October and we have already had two items to break. The dealer indicated the parts are in warranty but we would have to pay to have them come out and intalll the parts. As for comfort, the tub is comfortatle once you get in however there is a hump in the floor under the controls that makes it awkward to move from one side of the tub to the other side. This is a safety concern.
By Customer Service Caldera Kylie, May 5, 2023
Thank you for providing your feedback on your spa experience. I can understand the frustration of needing yo wait for your salt system to be installed.
While repairs are covered under warranty, there may be a travel fee that is up to the discretion of your dealer.
We'd be happy to look into this for you and see if there is anything we can do to support you and your dealer in ensuring that any concerns you have are addressed. I'll be emailing you shortly.

Very glad we bought it!
PostedDecember 18, 2022
We were going to include a Spa Feature in our new pool, but decided to buy a “store bought” one instead on the advice of our pool builder. It turned out to be a wise decision because it is more comfortable and convenient than a gunite one. Because we did not want to have continually climb up and in the spa, we had a hole excavated and lowered the spa in the ground for easier access. It works very well.

High quality experience once you learn all the jets
PostedDecember 1, 2022
I got the salt water Niagara and its a beast. They say it can hold 7, but realistically its 4. The experience is excellent in the sense that you don't smell chlorine or chemicals while you are in it, nor do you smell like any chemicals after you get out. So that's a step up in the hot tub world for sure. It should be noted that if you have psoriasis or eczema that a salt water experience is the way to go...but there is no joy if you have active open sores on your body.
The negatives are livable: There is a lack of user training for controlling the jets and what they show you in the user manual is useless. There are so many jet controls that are dependent on the position of other jet controls and as I said, its a pain to learn them. Lastly - 2 jets physically broke off/broke out of the jet position. Dunno if thats a factory build issue or an issue that happened during transportation.

Excellent First Hot Tub
PostedOctober 4, 2022
This was our first hot tub purchase and we are very happy with our decision. We researched many brands / options, along with reading all of the reviews. This is a great manufacturer and the dealer was excellent to work with. We look for quality and service when making larger purchases. The ability to run a salt or traditional cholorine system was an important feature.

Love the jets. We are relaxed and at peace when we're in the pool. We also appreciate having the water testing service from our dealer. My problems with it are that we have needed to drain and refill at about 2 month intervals. It was very expensive to buy, and it has reeked havoc with my skin.

Loving It!!
PostedJune 7, 2022
We’ve had our Caldera Niagara for about 3-4 months and we’ve been very pleased. Salt water system seems to operate great once we got it dialed in from our use… we love the jets and corner seat combinations. It’s great to move around and get the enjoyment/relaxation from the jets massaging in different areas.

This is the second spa we have purchased. The first one was from a brand that I will not mention. It lasted only five year. Had problems with it after 1 year. The caldera spa has been perfect. No issues. The salt water system is easy to take care of. Love it

Great hot tub but we have had some issues
PostedJune 3, 2022
I am a long time hot tub owner and this my first salt water system. I like the hot tub but have had some problems. The first problem is that one of the knobs that controls the jets shot off. I had to pay for a service call to repair it. They had to come out twice and said that the valves still may leak a little. The second issue I am still having is that the jets fluctuate in power occasionally. The technician said that it is a design flaw with the water flow. It drives my wife crazy when we are trying to relax and the jets start going hard and soft on their own. The final complaint I have is the salt water canisters that last up to 4 months each. Well, mine haven't lasted more than 3 months and at over a hundred bucks a pop, the maintenance cost just for the salt canisters is over $400 a year. Knowing all of the issues, I am not sure we would purchase the same hot tub. It is an expensive hot tub and it is expensive to maintain. All that being said, it is still a nice hot tub overall.

Best Purchase Ever
PostedJune 1, 2022
We used our hot tub regularly in the Winter with the snow coming down and now in the Spring after long work days and long bike rides. It is very relaxing and the jets are just what we need after a hard workout. I had a back issue in February and floating in the hot water did wonders! It is beautiful and functional. It's very easy to care for. This is the best purchase in the last few years!

First hot tub, I love it
PostedMay 31, 2022
Hot tub took about a year to get due to covid, but I absolutely love it. My two kids and I get in it all the time and it gives us a place to relax, unwind and talk. The maintenance on this hot tub is awesome there is hardly any maintenance once it is set up. I got one with the salt water system and would highly recommend it. I love all the different features and options it has as well.

Love our Caldera Spa hot tub!
PostedMay 31, 2022
After extensive research, we purchased our hot tub in the fall of 2021. We absolutely LOVE it and feel we made the right decision to go with this 7-person hot tub. We use it at least twice per week, alternating from station to station. It is so relaxing -- we use it primarily after work even now in the summer (Texas). We drop the temperature and it's perfect. We had a contractor install a gazebo over it -- shield us from the sun. Great buy!

LOVE our hot tub
PostedMay 31, 2022
When I was told I had arthritis, It was suggested that I purchase a hot tub for those miserable days of pain. I was reluctant as I heard the best day of your life is when you purchase a hot tub, only to find it 5 years later in a pile heap in the dump. We love our hot tub. Our customer service right off the bat was great. At first, we had some issues trying to regulate the water but it was more learning than anything. We have neighbors over and we use it all the time. The Caldera is top of the line and worth every penny. The features are exquisite. We are really happy with our purchase.

Happy with purchase
PostedMay 31, 2022
Bought our spa in august and most days we use it twice a day. It took me a while to learn how to get the water perfect and keep it perfect. I bought this blind without ever seeing it in person and only negative is the two seats with the neck jets. I’m 6’5 so I have to essentially lay down with legs extended to use them and it’s not super comfortable sitting using calf and wrist jets with head rest in the middle of my upper back. Thankfully the other 5 seats work great for me. Overall, we are super happy with the purchase. Electric bill was quite a bit higher than expected too. I’d recommend this tub to anyone looking!
