I love our tub

We ordered our tub in October with a 6 week lead time. The manufacturer was able to beat that time and the tub was ready in 4 weeks.I had my landscaper prep an area next to my patio in advance to ensure a level surface. The wiring was a simple job (I am an electrician don’t do it yourself if you are not qualified but was a 4 hr job start to finish) supplier installation took half a day on a cool November New England day. Filled the tub and added chemicals. It heated up from tap water to 102 in about 8 hours. My family and I went in the next day and it was like heaven! The electric bill does go up per month but not to crazy maybe extra $50 or $60 a month in winter. Less as warm weather comes around. My only regret is I don’t go in enough. But I guess that makes it that much better every time I do. My wife and her friends I can’t keep them out of there. We have had our tub for 7 months now I am preparing to flush the water and refill. It made it through its first harsh new England winter and still looking brand new. You will find tubs out there for less money, but you definitely get what you pay for. Advice from a 5 tub owner who finally found Caldera.

I have owned five hot tubs, over the past 20 years. I so wish I would’ve found a caldera for my first time as I truly believe it would’ve been the only tub I would’ve needed for 20 years. I never did buy a really inexpensive tub from the big box stores so we’re not comparing to the $3000 tubs from China. Those I would’ve never considered but even with the ones that I did purchase they just never seem to last or hold up in quality as one would expect. Several of the expense of times I had just didn’t seem to enjoy and have issues with after only five years of service. I almost made a typical hot tub purchase mistake By getting wrapped up in gimmicks marketing pretty lights, number of jets. The number one thing you need to do was wet test it may sound crazy but you have to wet test a Tub. Here’s a perfect example and a wrapped up and looking at the time that I had 1 million lights 100 yards and one seed that went from foot to neck on paper and staring at it it looked incredible what testing it not a good experience no pressure at all. Although the tub may look beautiful in your backyard that you just spend a pretty penny on as soon as you would get in it every night I just don’t believe that it would provide the therapy that most are looking for in a good hot tub. Fortunately I found an exceptional dealer that was interested in selling me a tub that would meet my needs or even exceed my needs and not a time that would necessarily just put more profit in his pocket. My Caldera Hot Tub has been the best Tub that I have owned. I believe it is the best quality tub that I’ve ever owned which in turn I believe will make it last for longer than any time I’ve ever owned I will have less maintenance compared to any time that I’ve owned. I get the absolute best therapy from this Tub than any other that I’ve ever owned it’s not just sitting in a tub of hot water. The Frog water maintenance makes taking care of this tubs water super easy. Virtually maintenance-free. Some people may also shy away from the potentially higher price point compared to less expensive hot tubs. Not taking into account the true Cost of ownership over time. I’ll wrap up this review with do yourself a favor go check out your local caldera hot tub dealership you won’t be sorry

Worst Spa purchase I've made

I purchased a Caldera Spa this year and its been an absolute nightmare. The spa arrived broken and after going through 3 different repair companies I still have a non-working Spa. Caldera does not have any interest in helping their customers for what they've said is a warranty item. Extremely disappointed. I paid a premium price for a premium warranty and even after spending thousands haven't been able to use the tub ONCE.

This was our first Hot Tub Purchase, and after doing a lot of research we decided on the Geneva. I can honestly say that it was the best decision we have made as husband and wife. We LOVE our Geneva Hot Tub and use it daily!!

I have owned a Caldera Geneva Utopia for the past 14 years. I use better quality chemicals and have had very few problems with this tub. We like it so much we have ordered a new one just like it! Thanks Caldera for making a quality product!

We love the hot tub. It’s very comfortable. The most comfortable hot tub ever. Easy to maintain. Never had a problem with the tub. We have have owned the tub for over 5 years no issues or problems.

Beautiful Jacuzzi! Very spacious. We were looking for a jacuzzi that works for our tall family and this one is perfect. Fits the 5 of us perfectly. We love the water cascade and the massage jets. It looks beautiful at night with the light on. Very easy to maintain. I would definitely recommend this one.

Just purchased a Geneva in 2018 after owning a Hot Spring Hot Tub for 18 years. Never had any issue with the Hot Spring. The Geneva is much more comfortable with more jets, more power, a inline FROG water system that keeps the water crystal clear with almost zero maintenance. It is an amazing product and we are very pleased with new Hot Tub. It is the only Hot Tub I have been in that I could truly say every seat in it is a good one.

The best investment we have made. It is a beautiful, luxurious, and very therapeutic. I have RA, and the lounger helps my ease my joint pain. Our previous spa was a Caldera (21 years old), and love this brand-very durable. Customer service is outstanding.

Caldera Geneva...most comfortable, beautiful lounger and cabinet

Our previous Caldera spa froze to death this past winter and lost it's life. It was a 2003 so it lasted about 15 years. It would have continued to go on easily but electricity failed and tub was effectively ruined. Alas, insurance replaced it! We chose the Geneva model for the lounger. I had had a lounger Hot Springs Envoy before and thought that was the "king's seat". Glad to have it back. We overlook a horse pasture with a million dollar view of million dollar horses we like to say.
I have to say that I was intrigued by the Hot Springs models and did my due diligence when seeking replacements, but when comparing the cabinets and warranty, I went back to the Caldera. It has not one now, but TWO, POWERFUL foot jets that literally massage my feet like nothing else could. Hands. Machine. There is nothing like the blast of power my feet receive from this Caldera spa. My wife and I both love it.
The jets that you can turn to tailor the jet's action to feel different is just wonderful.
The CABINET is so modern, beautiful, unique and eye-catching. It fits our modern house perfectly, better than any other hot tub on the market.
Thank you Caldera for the excellent backyard spa experience.

Bought our Geneva in 2009. Did a ton of on line research on tubs at the time knowing we wanted a therapy tub with a good track record. I knew from other people we know the pitfalls of owning a hot tub. This tub has never had any issues and I mean zero issues over the years (including control panel). Just now replacing the original cover (I cover the cover). Just a great well made product. Hard to find these days. Caldera for life!!

I bought a Geneva in 2005 the best thing I ever bought. In 2010 I had it cleaned by a techician and he noticed a bubble l. I called the company they honored the warranty and gave me a new one. What company does that caldera does it is the center point of my families enjoyment we love it.

Excellent spa now needs a timer

I live in Canada and have loved my Geneva spa all year round since 2007 and the service has been excellent.... however, electricity prices are rising in Ontario and I want to put on a power timer for use except in winter. Is this ok to do....I cannot tell from the manuals?

We were ready to purchase the Martinique (a really nice tub as well) and at the last minute, due to a great sale price, we elected to upgrade to the Geneva. We are so happy we did. It is so roomy and has so many jets! We are still getting used to all of the diverter and air flow adjustments for the jets, but have found just playing with the settings is the easiest way to learn. The lounger and the Ecstaseat are awesome. We like the different height seats allowing shorter folks to still enjoy the tub. The foot and calf jets are like no other tub we have owned. We added the bluetooth sound system and it is so nice. We can't believe how clear the sound is even if you are not sitting in one of the seats with the dual speakers. The only things I would do to improve this tub would be to add built in cup holders and to somehow add a step inside for getting in and out. There is really no ideal place to get in or out, even with the exterior steps, so getting in and out is a bit awkward.

I REPLACED A 10-11 YEAR OLD SPA AND WISH I HAD DONE IT SOONER. THE EASE OF SET UP AND THE SIMPLE BUT EFFICIENT SPA COVER LIFTER REMINDED ME WHAT A NEW CAR IS LIKE. YES, THE SPA EVEN SMELLS NEW. I AM IN THE SPA TWICE A DAY AND KNOW THAT THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT NEED TO FIND OUT HOW HEALING A SPA CAN BE.
