Got my Cantabria delivered and hooked up today. Besides the dealer having minimal issues (missing a diverter valve knob and steps), pump 3 turns on for 2 seconds and shuts off. There's also damage to an exterior panel. Brand new and already nothing but issues. I know warranty will take care of it, but I had better expectations of a $20k+ hot tub...

Love our spa, but lots of issues

We purchased our Cantabria about 4 years ago and while it's a beautiful, we've had more issues than I'd expected with it. Most are small details like the jet covers popping off constantly and one of the "waterfalls" that shoots water beautifully into the spa stopped having pressure about a year after purchase, so no matter how high we crank it up it only shoots half as high as it should. Within the first year the control panel completely stopped working (mind you we live in Arizona so only get to use this spa for a few months when it's cool, and even then we've used it less than 20 times since we've bought it). The repairman fixed the control panel, and we've called them one other time for something I can't remember. Then in April of '24 we noticed constant moisture on the decking in front of the spa, so decided to keep an eye on it. It kept getting worse but the water level in the spa wasn't down much so we just added water here and there. By July the water level was down 12 inches every time we pulled back the cover, so we called the repairman again. They first came out on August 29th of '24 and agreed yes, there was a leak but he couldn't get to it, so he'd be back soon to try again. Fast forward to December when the manufacturer sent a crane to pick up our spa and fix it. Mind you this repairman came every week, trying different things to fix it, our spa up on blocks, empty, and quite and eyesore. It is now March of '25 and our spa has been repaired and they're ready to deliver it. 7 months of no spa during the only time of the year we can actually enjoy it. We've been told they've repaired everything wrong they could find and it'll be in perfect condition 🤞 I really hope so, because for the money spent on this spa so far I feel like it's been disappointing. Let's hope the issues are in the past...

We have had nothing but problems with our spa. The first one we had leaked from the get go. Our dealer had to come replace with an entire new hot tub because they couldn't fix it. The side panels on the new hot tub warp within two months. They do not connect well together and are a pain to take off if needing to get to the heating element. Our control panel has gone out four times. It will flicker and and the touch screen will not respond. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SPA. We regret our purchase and wish we could return it!

Total scam of a system- Do not buy a Caldera

Purchased a new Caldera Cantabria saltwater hot tub. It HAS NOT worked properly since I’ve gotten it! It WILL NOT generate chlorine. My dealer and I have tried everything and Caldera customer service will not do anything but state that there is nothing wrong with their system…
My water levels are and have been perfect. Zero phosphates, zero ammonia. I’ve been through 3 salt water generators, 2 LED screen panels, 1 control pack, countless saltwater cartridges. Ive emptied and refilled multiple times. I have done everything humanly possible to make this work…. Will not work.

We purchased this from backyard leisure terre haute Indiana. It was delivered yesterday with fresh hot water installed and we were able to get in it within 45 minutes. It is true the old sayings you get what you pay for I never thought that my backyard would be so elegant I feel like a million dollars I'm 67 years old I've been a single woman for a long time. I have many aches and pains I only mentioned my status because I feel that we work harder we don't have somebody to help us this spa has already helped increase my energy my blood flow my pain level I can't thank you enough and the greatest part it's salt good job you've got to get more stores I think every house that's built these days should have the option to put one of these in the backyard big time yeah did yourself thank you Caldera Utopia excellent

Excellent for people with disabilities for at home therapy

First the good . I am elite on yelp and on Google my reviews effect business in a positive plus way. 100% truthful reviews. The therapy and design are 100% excellent in the Cantabria. Like have a team of therapists working on you in the comfort of the spa. Yes I would recommend this model 100%. My experience is the factory checking before shipping is severely lacking. . The first tub the color was nothing like any of the pictures and that should have been told to me. Nothing was ever mentioned. We exchanged it in the end and the 3 rd one was great. They right excellent customer service on all the pamphlets . Sadly I had to k ok my head against the wall to get any factory help. The repair company they sent was excellent as good as it gets. The wait time for parts and updates was abysmal from the caldera factory. After 2 1/2 yrs approx I finally have happiness after all the aggravation I didn’t need but always got through no fault of my own. Calls never answered shame on you who didn’t call back, no excuse. I am more than happy now after it was non working bad solenoid the first day I turned it on. The tub is fantastic when everything works. I am very happy to finally have peace but the factory never compensated me for all the aggravation they dragged me through and all the calls I had to make. Buy this tub you won’t find any better or none more helpful to your body, every part of your body. Very poorly run corporate customer service need 100% overhaul. It more customer diss service than customer service. Not one person from factory applied for the nightmare I lived through and I am disabled to boot. I’m glad I have this excellent tub for my health. They need to figure out why the white plastic bezels around the output keep coming off 3 out of 3 tubs. Talk is cheap, be the excellent customer service you say you are in all your ads. The truth will always be the truth. Would I buy this tub again. it’s fantastic for a broken body in total pain and great after exercise to lower the pain. Don’t let the terrible customer service sway you away from buying this model. The repair people are caring with excellent technician Dan and Trisha’s the best customer repair company agent in all of arizona. 100% positive everything with the repair company . Hands down the best of the best so not one worry with them. Hopefully only good things from now on and the things someone in corporate actually gives a when a customer is put in the middle of this mess trying to

Delivery team was fantastic but that’s the end of the superlatives. The service team has been ok to poor. Typically arrives without calling. Text message questions sometimes go unanswered. Sales was very frustrating. Charged me for things that they claimed would be included. The tub itself is highly questionable. Parts keeping falling off, it arrived filthy, it’s stopped circulating for no reason, failed to heat, and the lounger seat took multiple service attempts to get working and apparently I have to make sure the jets are pointed in a particular direction or they will turn themselves off. Very frustrating. That’s only a few of the issues I’ve experienced.

Cantabria tub installed 6/2/2023. Received delivery damaged and defective parts. It’s now NOVEMEMBER 9th 2023. 3:41 Arizona time. Sick and fed up. Parts not sent to repair hot tub . Been waiting FIVE MONTHS AND SEVEN DAYS numerous calls and no parts ever sent and ZERO INFO IF THEY WERE EVER ORDERED. How does this company advertise excellen customer service and do this to any customer. This is customer disservice 100% when no one helps the customer. This is not the first time with horrendous non existent customer service. You really have to push me to take the time to tell the ugly truth. Truth and nothing but the truth. It arrived damaged with multiple parts ordered and the main front cover of the spa needed total replacement after clips broke and screws pulled out of the wood supports. I made my last call to corporate 2am this morning and found a review card I waited 5 months hoping I didn’t have to write a 100% true horrible review at all costs. It’s not nice to have anyone waiting this long. It’s bad business that needs to be fixed at the highest level. Don’t advertise excellent customer service when it’s been zero on more than one occasion. I bought from this company because they raved about their customer service. . Calling it horrible is the nicest word I can write but it’s worse than horrible. Not one person helped the repair business by send the parts and no one gave an answer where the parts are at when caldera Watson was asked numerous times. SHAME ON THIS COMPANY. It was delivered day one damaged. The parts were immediately ordered for my brand new damaged tub installed June 2 2023. No help from anyone and no parts and no apology’s. It’s disgusting treatment with no excuse for the dead silence. Buyers beware. Great tub when it’s working absolutely one of the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with in the United States. When you pay $23,000 or when you pay $23 don’t brag about customer service when Zero ⭐️ is the customers reality

The Caldera Cantabria is the most comfortable got tub we've ever been in. The seats are ergonomically excellent, the jet selection is broad and very powerful. Overall we're very pleased. Only reason for 4 stars on quality is some of the exterior panels dont fit tight. I'm sure energy efficiency isn't superb, but we didn't buy it for that. And finally, at $20k for a hot tub, it is a considerable investment, but one of the best we've found.

Speakers shot after three years, panels do not stay attached

We purchased this tub about three years ago and overall it has been just ok. Uses a ton of Chlorine but I guess that just a function of the size f the tub and the local water. Also, the side panels do not stay in place, they pop off at the bottom and it looks bad.
What I was most disappointed in was that all of the speakers but one have failed 2-3 years in. I thought I had a 5 year warranty only t find out that the speaker warranty is only one year. We spent nearly $20K on this tub and accessories only to have then fail. Very disappointing. I am hesitant to pay to repair thenm only to see them fail again and not be covered.

We finally bought the Cantabria. When I found out we could do do saltwater I didn’t hesitate, bought it on the spot. So easy to start up and maintain. We use it almost every night. It’s been wonderful for my arthritis. Love it!!

An amazing adventure and experience,And of course we had to get the biggest one. It’s absolutely amazing spa. The one negative would be that the lighting is too high on the top, and they blind you. Husband and I feel that light system should be a little lower into the water to load up the tub rather than hit you in the eyes. Other than that we really enjoy it and it’s very powerful and therapeutic

The tub is fantastic, probably the best I ever have experienced. But my first electric bill was a real shocker. In 40-50 degree temps at 99 degrees used for 3 hours per week, this is running me about $250 a month just for electricity on top of my usual bill. Know what you’re signing up for.

Bought my Cantabria spa 4 years ago. When it works, it's great.
Problem we have is the control panel works for abut 4 months then quits. It's been replaced 3 times already. Now waiting for another one. Hope it doesn't take 10 months like the last one.

We are enjoying our Cantabria very much. It is a real joy. Relaxing and refreshing. Pure luxury. We feel like royalty. We got all the bells and whistles. Bluetooth, avante steps and handrail. Freshwater salt system is the best. Very easy to maintain. Highly recommend going with all above. Water is so clean and natural. Everything is true what they say online and in catalog. Prolift Cover 3 is very easy to operate and also maintain.
We check our water daily in 5 mins. Once a week, I wipe down shell with microcloth. Then do my weekly maintenance. Add spa shock oxidizer and water clarifier. We are thrilled with our purchase.
My advice is go with the largest spa you can. We stretch out in this as we would in a pool.
